Got up at 5.45am to pouring rain; at least yesterday for the Twins 2nd birthday it was glorious sunshine.
Met the lovely Micala at the pier at 6.20ish so she could take some pics of me having a swim; luckily the rain had stopped by then, as watching me swim is boring enough without doing it in the rain.
Swam just once around the Pier as didn't want her to have to hang around. Sea nice and warm and like a millpond, not a ripple.
Heading around the end of the pier at about 6.30am I swam past Paul & Shoichi who were just treading water with their fishing rods (they'd already caught 2 mackerel); only in Brighton could you see that at 6.30! Gotta love this town!
Tomorrow Bob and I doing a 7am longish one. Wouldn't mind a few waves tomorrow as really need a tough swim soon.
