The weather has changed! Very windy today and a lot colder in the air.
The sea was definitely colder and was wavy; not big waves, but constant and slappy in the face ones. As we swam to the Pier it was splashy and pulling us back to the shore, but as we swam around the Pier it was very windy and at times felt like we were not moving. Going back under the Pier it was a real push as the waves seemed to be going both ways, but when we came out the West Pier side it became a bit easier. Even though it was a hard swim it was enjoyable because of the conditions.
Maybe having a bowl of cereal and a banana this morning helped a little! Who knows!
