Having had 4 days off from the sea, I am ready for a swim, really feel I need it. Back to protein shakes as well, but again happy to restart. Good time at Centre Parcs, did a lot of activity and managed to squeeze in an hours run, but basically not really over worked.
A nice swim today, although my goggles kept leaking which stopped me doing a long one (but that may be an excuse; I can’t decide!). Water a fraction choppy as was windy, but dry, bright, warm and the sea around 14.5c, which I found very warm. Apparently the channel is around this temperature usually.
Just swam once around the pier to ease back in.
