Day 77 – 20th August 2010
Another fine day in the ocean!
This morning Bob and I swam with Graham; another really nice chap and most inspiring. He has just got back from Gothenburg having competed in the World Swimming Championships in the over 65’s cateogoy. He came 14th in the World out of around 60. Amazing!
We swam around all the buoys, round the pier, round the next buoy and then traced all the way back again. Went in at 6.55am and took about 45 minutes, probably a total of around 1.5 miles, maybe a little less. Choppy again with every stroke being attacked by a wave from each direction. Temperature maybe 13 degrees, so certainly dropping now.
This afternoon have another 1hr Gym with Wendy and 1hr Pool with Mark. Then it’s the weekend, nothing tomorrow and just a small run Sunday – yeh, rest time!
