Day 361 - Tuesday 1st November 2011

A day much like yesterday; same 11.9 degrees and very bumpy. Big Bob, James, old James and I swam around pier. Very challenging indeed as both temperature and waves against us. Older James however swam twice around the head; amazing!!!!

I think sometimes that I forget that it is quite an achievement to swim in November in the sea without wetsuit about 1/2 mile out to sea in very choppy conditions and all before work. As we do it every day I think we don't think about the enormity of it, but actually every time we do it we face life threatening danger and physically and mentally push ourselves; all at 7am when most people are just waking up. Interesting to think about!
