Swimming day 478 - Wednesday 9th May 2012

Todays swim was much the same as yesterday, although not quite as low tide.  The tide was fairly sticky again which made the whole swim quite an effort; which is good from a “training” point of view but rubbish from a “wake up it’s the morning” point of view. 

This morning, whilst LB and his girls were hanging out near the edge, Big Bob and I were joined by a Triathlete for our pier swim.  She was staying at a beach hotel and saw us swimming yesterday and asked if she could join us; of course we were very happy to have her company; even though she was in a wetsuit from head to toe!  Those Triathletes may be tough cookies, but they are not as tough as BSC sea swimmers!
