Swimming day 474 - Wednesday 2nd May 2012

If yawning were a sport then I recon no one could catch me.

Another pier swim today; 2 in a row and both so different.
Bob, Shoichi and I headed out into a very flat sea; no wind, no rain and a mid strong westerly tide.  Avoiding yesterdays “against the tide” decision, we instead went clockwise around and took advantage of the tide.  Saying that, it still felt sticky coming around the head of the pier and for some reason the beach seemed a lot further away than usual.  Certainly being a high tide meant you were swimming as soon as you got in, but it did seem even further than usual – could the pier have grown overnight just like my Asher who is fast growing out of his school trousers day by day.
Another busy day in the office (plus another sleepless night care of Jesse again)  has produced numerous yawning sessions today ; no doubt my 2 hour pool swim tonight with Bob with mean even more yawning tomorrow.
